TAYLOR MIINCH CKI FLORIDA CUP PREVIEW
"Senior rookie looks to continue to impress"
February 22, 2010 -- Californian Taylor Miinch will travel back to Florida for the second time in as many months to compete in the Championship Karting International Florida Cup presented by Supertune USA and DeFrancesco Racing at the Homestead Karting Complex in southern Florida. The Top Kart USA driver will look to add to the three top five results scored in the opening round in January.
Miinch will again be pulling double duty in southern Florida, as he will compete in the Rotax Senior and TaG Senior divisions. Utilizing a Top Kart chassis in both classes, Miinch will be powered by P1 Engines also in both classes.
"I am excited to get back to Florida and on track," stated Miinch from his home in southern California. "We had a great event there in January and the competition was awesome. The Homestead track is one of my most favorite tracks in Florida, and I will look to stand atop the podium again this weekend."
Miinch currently sits second overall in the TaG Senior championship battle behind IndyCar star Dan Wheldon. Running two classes at every event, Miinch also sits third in the Rotax Senior class after two solid top five results in January.
