Brad Keselowski Will Start Sunday's Race from the 26th Spot

GOODYEAR, Ariz. (November 13, 2009) -- Brad Keselowski, driver of the No. 12 Penske Dodge Charger, will start Sunday's short track event at the Phoenix International Raceway from the 26th position.

In Friday afternoon's qualifying session, Keselowski was the 16th car to roll off to make a qualifying attempt. He wheeled his white and red Dodge Charger around the flat one-mile track running a time of 27.035 seconds which put him on the outside of the 13th row for the start of the Sunday's showdown in the desert. This is the Michigan native's first NASCAR Cup Series start at the one-mile oval.

"The car wouldn't turn like I needed it to," commented Keselowski after the qualifying session. "We spent some extra time in race trim during practice today just logging laps trying to get a feel for the track. This place is really fun and I am looking forward to Sunday's race."
