Team Chevy Drivers Capture Six of Top-10 Starting Positions at Pocono
Long Pond, PA -- Clint Bowyer made a second place qualifying run in the No. 33 Cheerios/Hamburger Helper Chevrolet to capture the outside front row starting position for Sunday's Gillette Fusion ProGlide 500 at Pocono Raceway.
Dale Earnhardt Jr., No. 88 National Guard/AMP Energy Chevrolet, will start third.
Tony Stewart, No. 14 Old Spice/Office Depot Chevrolet will roll off sixth and Juan Pablo Montoya, No. 42 Target Chevrolet, will start seventh. Rounding out the six Chevy drivers to qualify in the top 10 will be Ryan Newman, No. 39 Haas Automation Chevrolet and Jeff Gordon, No. 24 DuPont Chevrolet starting ninth and 10th, respectively.
A total of 14 Chevrolet drivers will take the green flag for the 200 lap/500-mile race.
Kyle Busch (Toyota) captured the pole position; while Kurt Busch (Dodge) and Denny Hamlin (Toyota) complete the top-five starters for the race.
The green flag is scheduled to wave at 1:00 p.m. EDT with live coverage by TNT, MRN Radio and Sirius Satellite Radio.
