LAS VEGAS-- Race fans enjoyed exciting race action at The Orleans NASCAR Weekly Racing Series presented by Dodge at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Saturday night.

Mark Schottmuller and Dick Attisani both collected NASCAR Outlaw Stock wins. Schottmuller followed Attisani to pass race leader Ken Kulikowski on lap 10 in the first 25-lap event. Attisani and Schottmuller battle for the lead. Schottmuller was able to capture the checkered flag after a three-wide battle to the finish to post his first win this season. Attisani finished second followed by Kulikowski and Dan Howell.

In the second NASCAR Outlaw Stock event, Attisani took command from Kulikowski midway through the 25-lap race and maintained his lead to post his second main event win this season. Schottmuller finished second followed by Wayne Jacks and Dan Howell.

NASCAR Late Model driver Scott "The Wizard" Gafforini proved strong for the second consecutive race this season. After posting his first win May 18, Gafforini won the Racer's Supply Dash for Cash and took the checkered flag in the 40-lap main event Saturday night. Gafforini held a substantial lead, while Chuck Trickle and Mike Cofer battled side-by-side for second. At the checkered flag Gafforini finished first followed by Trickle, Cofer and Thane Alderman. NASCAR Late Model results are unofficial pending post-race technical inspection.

The Texas Posse dominated the Legends Cars division. Josh Gilbert, Pat Pennington and Alan Riley of Texas finished one-two-three in the 25-lap main event. Rick Rogas, Justin Johnson and rookie Michael Fredericks are the only three locals that finished in the top 10.

Randy Brown of West Covina, Calif. posted his fifth win at the Bullring in the Mechanix Wear Speed Trucks. Andrew Lewis finished second followed by locals TJ and Spencer Clark.
