GEDDIE LOOKING TO BUILD ON ROCKINGHAM SUCCESS AT BRANDS

After claiming a superb 3rd place at Rockingham in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB yesterday, reigning Pro-Am 1 Champion Glynn Geddie will be out to demonstrate his true pace as the field heads to Brands Hatch, Kent this weekend.

Returning to the scene where the nineteen year-old, from Aberdeen, was crowned champion in October last year, Geddie lies 4th in the championship with 47 points, just one short of Team Parker Racing team mate Euan Hankey. However the Apex Tubulars-backed charger admits that the two meetings so far this season, at Thruxton and Rockingham respectively, have been on his least favourite tracks, so he cannot wait to really kick-off his 2010 campaign on the Brand Hatch GP circuit this weekend.

"Brands GP is a mega track and also holds some very good memories for me", explains Geddie. "I won both races on the GP circuit there last year in Pro-Am 1, and was on the overall podium, which sealed the championship, and it's also where I became Pro-Am 2 Champion in 2008.

"As for the season so far, we've had our share of dramas at Thruxton and Rockingham with tyres but still managed a podium yesterday. This coming weekend has all the ingredients to build on that and really make an impact, so I guess, in a way, our season starts here!"
