Morgan reunites with K-Hill Motorsports for Sebring National
Abbottstown, PA - Florida native Cole Morgan will be joining forces with K-Hill Motorsports for the Sports Car Club of America race to be held at the historic Sebring circuit Jan 8th-9th. Morgan, who won the F2000 Championship series raced with K-Hill Motorsports in the same series in 2010 and finished second in the points. Morgan will drive the Ranger Up/Hoosier Tire/Yellow Bowl Bakery Van Diemen for K-Hill Motorsports.
"I'm so grateful to be able to partner with Ranger Up again this year, I've met so many great people after being associated with them, they're just an awesome company! I must say that I believe in the next few years Ranger Up will be a regular household name."
"I'm incredibly lucky to be driving on Hoosier Tires again in 2011. Bruce Foss and the entire Hoosier organization are top notch, and I have no doubt that I have the very best tires on my car every session. I am also thrilled with the opportunity to drive for Kris Kaiser and K-Hill Motorsports for a second year. Last year we overcame so many obstacles, mostly from my lack of funding, but Kris really put a ton of work into our effort and it showed as we were able to finish 2nd in the F2000 Championship. It certainly wasn't the most stress free year, but we did it the hard way, and it will only make us stronger in 2011. Kris really does put his heart and soul into his customers and their cars. It's hard to find someone working harder than him at the track, he never stops.
The Yellow Bowl Bakery is based in Lafayette, IN. It is owned by Katy Gunderson, who is a close friend of Ranger Up. Katy is an amazing chef, and also a tremendous supporter of Soldiers Angels. The Yellow Bowl routinely sends care packages overseas to the troops, and Katy has also made it a point to travel around the country visiting wounded Veterans. I am truly honored to drive the Ranger Up/Hoosier Tire/Yellow Bowl Bakery Van Diemen for K-Hill Motorsports. It's not every day you get the support of such great companies, who do so much for others, especially for the Armed Forces.", said Morgan.
"It's great to be able to team up with Cole again. He is a fantastic talent. We had him up at Roebling to help in our off-season testing. We put him in a customer's Formula Atlantic car to get a baseline for data and with 5 laps, in a car that he'd never seen, and didn't even have a seat in it, he was under the existing track record. This kid is the real deal. We can't wait to get to Sebring", said Kris Kaiser owner of K-Hill Motorsports.
