Two Formula One teams in search of warmer testing conditions, Ferrari and Toyota, began the work week Monday at Bahrain's 5.412-kilometer (3.36-mile) Sakhir circuit, where the Bahrain Grand Prix is scheduled to take place April 6.

Track temperatures reached as high as 80 degrees Fahrenheit, well above the 60-degree temps faced by teams that tested over the weekend at Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain.

World Driving Champion Kimi Raikkonen and veteran test driver Luca Badoer worked on overall development of the Ferrari F2008 and gave heed to set-up and electronics.

Raikkonen drove a more-than-race-distance 68 laps with a best -- though unofficial -- time of 1 minute, 32.079 seconds. Badoer logged 72 laps with a quick time of 1:33.323.

Toyota race driver Timo Glock worked on mechanical set-up changes to the TF108. Glock drove a quick lap of 1:33.418 in 72 laps. Test driver Kamui Kobayashi took his first turn at the TF108 and turned a best-lap 1:33.856.
