Varano, race two - flash results: first victory for Krohn, ahead of Campana and Mancinelli
The weekend at Varano de' Melegari, fifth of the Italian Formula 3 2010 Championship, ends with the first victory of the season for Jesse Krohn (RP Motorsport), who started race two from the pole position and kept the lead from lights to flag. Behind the Finnish, Sergio Campana (Lucidi Motors) followed by Daniel Mancinelli (Team Ghinzani).
The top ten was completed by Christopher Zanella (JD Motorsport), Andrea Caldarelli (Prema Junior), Cesar Ramos (BVM-Target), author of race one's fastest lap, Mattews Lee (RC Motorsport), Stephane Richelmi (Lucidi Motors), Kevin Giovesi (JD Motorsport), first of the rookies, and Gabriel Chaves (Eurointernational).
Ramos is now at the lead of the classification with 103 points. Richelmi is second at 99, one point clear of Mancinelli; fourth place for Caldarelli at 91. Among the rookies, the leader Giovesi is standing at 137, five points clear of Chaves.
The Italian Formula 3 Championship will be back on track next 26 September at Vallelunga.
