Kansas City, KS - "There's no place like home" stated by Dorothy in the famous movie the Wizard of Oz has a lot to be said for the Morgan/Dollar Motorsports team and driver Dennis Setzer this weekend as they prepare for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series first ever appearance at the Kansas Speedway.

The Morgan/Dollar Motorsports team is located five hours south of the new Kansas Speedway in Hennessey, Oklahoma. With tracks spread across the United States the team always looks forward to racing close to home and Kansas is no exception.

"I have been looking forward to coming to Kansas since they announced the race last year," said David Dollar team owner. "We consider the Kansas Speedway our home track, we will have a tremendous amount of family and friends here this weekend to help cheer us on."

The team has been based in Hennessey, Oklahoma since they entered the Craftsman Truck Series. Morgan/Dollar Motorsports was formed in the fall of 98' when Rob Morgan and David Dollar combined. Morgan drove the #46 Acxiom Ford for two seasons before taking a more commanding ownership roll in 2001.

2001 brought many changes to the team as they welcomed series veteran Dennis Setzer and a new manufacturer in Chevrolet. The team also departed ways with crew chief Bill Ingle and welcomed Danny Gill.

Since Gill joined the team in St. Louis this season, they have peeled off a win, 1 top-5 and four top-10's, not finishing outside of the top-14. The team has moved from 22nd in the point's standings to 9th in the past seven races.

2001 got off to a rocky start for the Oklahoma based team as the change of manufacturers set the team back. However, the team has been working hard to find that competitive edge. Their hard work was realized in Memphis June 23rd as they won their first ever race and the sixth of Setzer's truck series career.

"We did get off to a rough start this season," said Setzer. "The guys have been putting in long hours and have been working hard to get us on the right track. Danny Gill has made a big difference to the program and I think it is only a matter of time until you see the #46 Acxiom/Computer Associates Chevrolet back in victory lane!"

The O'Reilly 250 will be the first Craftsman Truck Series event held at the all-new Kansas Speedway. The 1.5-mile oval has gotten great reviews and Setzer is looking forward to the challenges that it will present.

"I have heard that the new track is great, I hear the surface is flawless and that the times will be quick," he stated. "It is similar to Las Vegas, it has a bit of a Dogleg down the frontstretch and is not all that banked at 15 degrees. I expect it to be an exciting race."

With the Kansas Speedway relatively in their backyard Morgan/Dollar Motorsports is hoping they are clicking their heels together Saturday afternoon as "there's no place like home" or no place like victory lane.

Green flag coverage of the inaugural running of the O'Reilly Auto Parts 250 at the new Kansas Speedway can be found on ESPN Saturday July 7 at 1:00 pm ET, with live radio coverage on MRN radio.
