Jack Harvey listed as BRDC Superstar

BRITISH F3 RACING DRIVER JACK HARVEY ANNOUNCED AS A BRDC SUPERSTAR FOR 2011

British racing driver Jack Harvey has today been announced as one of fourteen drivers that will be taking part in the BRDC SuperStars Programme in 2011.

Now in its fourth year, the Programme was launched to support British drivers develop their professional motor sport careers. It was put in place to work with drivers away from the racing environment with a programme of events and workshops throughout the year to enhance their communication and marketing skills.

Drivers on the scheme are provided with guidance on physical and mental training, media training, marketing, sponsorship advice, on-going team building exercises and tailor made progression workshops.

The Racing Steps Foundation-supported driver has been a member of the BRDC Rising Stars scheme since 2009 and today's announcement reflects Jack's continuous progress through the ranks of motorsport with recognition of a SuperStars status. 2011 will see Jack compete in the British F3 Championship for the Carlin Motorsport team, with the first round taking place in Monza on the 14th-16th April.

Jack and the other SuperStars will experience their first group event on February 15th when they travel to RAF Cranwell in Lincolnshire, for a day of Fighter Pilot Aptitude Training. RAF Cranwell is the oldest Air Force College in the world and the Royal Air Force's most prestigious training unit.

Tim Harvey, Director, BRDC SuperStars is delighted to confirm the line up for the fourth year; "We always find it hard to make the final decision but after careful consideration we feel we have a very talented bunch of drivers who we look forward to working with this year.

Jack Harvey commented; "I am really pleased to be joining the BRDC Superstars Programme for 2011. I have been part of their Rising Stars programme since 2009 and have gained a lot from their events and workshops. It is a privilege to take the next step up in their scheme and be announced as a member of their SuperStar Programme and I look forward to working with them again in 2011."
