RACE WITH THE STARS FOR THE MICHAEL PARK FUND

Fancy driving alongside your favourite motorsport heroes to raise cash for the Michael Park Fund?

Well, now you have the chance of a lifetime to join some of the most famous names in racing while raising money for a great cause.

The Richard Burns Foundation has two places up for grabs in its "Michael Park Fund" Team, competing in the BP Ultimate 102 Unleaded Celebrity Kart Challenge at the Autosport International show.

On 11 January 2008, you could be lining up alongside Stobart VK M-Sport Ford's Matthew Wilson, rally legend Markko Martin, top national racer Joe Twyman and another star yet to be confirmed.

There are two seats alongside these stars available to the public by auction. The winners will enjoy one and a half hours of race action in front of the TV cameras, against 20 teams featuring the biggest names in motorsport.

The reserve on this incredible experience is just 300 GBP. To make a bid simply send your name, contact details and your bid amount to info@richardburnsfoundation.com. The closing date for bids is Monday 7 January at midday.

All the money from public entries will go straight to the winning team's chosen charity.

There will also be another very special team competing to raise cash for the Richard Burns Foundation.

"Marino's Maurauders" will see Scottish ALMS ace Marino Franchitti joined by team-mates, including ex-Formula One star Johnny Herbert, Le Mans and Porsche racer Danny Watts, and DTM driver Paul Di Resta, in a bid to win the event for RBF.

The race organisers are hoping to raise 50,000 GBP for charity from the event. With the support of three team sponsors they have already hit the 20,000 mark GBP. If you would like to sponsor a team or the grid girls in this televised event and raise money for your or their chosen charity, please contact Bill Williams via bill@racing4charity.com.
