Phoenix, AZ - February 24, 2010 -- The Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving and the Championship Karting International series have inked a deal for 2010. The Arizona-based programs have announced that CKI is the 'Official Kart Racing Series of the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving' while Bondurant is named the 'Official High Performance Driving School of CKI.' While the two programs will work together, they will also award more than $55,000 in prizes and awards throughout the 2010 season.

"The Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving has been a staple in the motorsports industry and will become a fixture among karter's ladder system," expressed CKI Director of Operations Kevin Williams. "We are happy to have this deal in place and look forward to announce more partners in the coming weeks."

While the Bondurant and CKI programs will work together to promote the sport of karting through print and online advertising, Bondurant will also have a major presence at the WSK North American Series events at both the New Jersey Motorsports Park as well as the Grand Championships at Mandalay Bay in October. Additional dates and trackside displays will be announced in the future.

"From karts to performance cars to open wheel Formula Mazda's, The Bondurant School has been an industry-leading provider of high-quality advanced driver training for more than four decades," said Alan Rudolph, vice president and general manager, Bondurant SuperKart School. "We look forward to expanding our presence in the karting community and working closely with CKI to help karters move up the ladder system and take their careers to the next level."

More than $55,000 in prizes and awards will be given out throughout this year including a Bondurant Formula Mazda Race Series weekend to the CKI Florida Cup champion of the KF2 category. The total value of the prize awarded to the KF2 champion is valued at $3,495.00. Also, the champion of KZ2 in the WSK North American Series by CKI will receive a four day Grand Prix Course and a race weekend in the Formula Mazda while the champion of CKI TaG Senior class will receive a four day Grand Prix Road Racing Course.

With a variety of other prizes, the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving will also award substantial credits towards Bondurant Driving schools for both junior and senior competitors alike.

The Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving is welcoming karters to join their program. Unlike other ladder series schools, the Bondurant program makes the jump to the world of open wheel racing cheaper and easier. Literally, hundreds of drivers have gone through the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving most notably Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Casey Mears, Elliot Sadler and multiple other champions. The Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving is the place to go to be a better driver. The program is where the pro's have trained and is a necessity before jumping into any racing program.

The Championship Karting International program and WSK North America Series by CKI will next see action with their second event in the first annual CKI Florida Cup presented by Supertune USA and DeFrancesco Racing. With the program taking place at the Homestead Karting Center just south of Miami, Florida, the Florida Cup Series will award more than $130,000.00 in cash and prizes including a brand new Mazda 3.
