Ellis, 26, made his NASCAR Sprint Cup debut last November at Phoenix, finishing 40th in the Joe Falk-owned No. 33.
He will pilot the No. 93 ScienceLogic Toyota at Richmond next month for the first race with the team.
“Four or five years ago, I met Ron Devine and I told him one day I would drive for him. It seemed very far-fetched at the time, but this year it finally came to fruition,” Ellis said in a team release.
“It’s an amazing opportunity for me and I’m so happy to bring ScienceLogic with me to the BK Racing program. I’ve gotten to know the ScienceLogic employees and brand a lot in the last year, and really feel like part of their family.”
“Ryan is a driver that we’ve been watching for quite some time as he raced in the Trucks and XFINITY,” added team owner Ron Devine. “We’re proud to bring him to BK Racing this season and welcome ScienceLogic to our family.”
Ellis has a total of 50 starts in the top three divisions of NASCAR with 29 in the Xfinity Series, 20 in Trucks and the aforementioned one at the Cup level. He has a best NXS result of 22nd and 16th in the NCWTS.
