Delancey Dominates Path Valley Four Wheelers
Spring Run, PA_ Dane Delancey of Port Royal started an unprecedented one-day romp through four-wheeler flat track racing with the first of his five wins in Four Wheeler Two Stroke racing Saturday afternoon at the Path Valley Speedway Park.
The quads race with the Burris Karts program each Saturday afternoon at Path Valley and Delancey went on to win the Four Wheeler Four Stroke afternoon feature and then followed up that evening with wins in both those features and the Sportsman event in AMA Region Six racing for five feature wins on the same track on the same day. "It was a personal goal," he said.
In other Burris kart racing, Kevin Sheaffer who has dominated the boxstock Heavy class, upset Autumn Bear in the Animal karts, and Amber Lyter upset Geremey Sheaffer in the Lites. The Sr. Champ caged karts feature again went to Pete Neuder of Chambersburg, who has chosen to start in last place for the challenge of pacing and passing.
Points racing toward the Burris Racing sponsored season championships continues each Saturday afternoon at Path Valley with gates open at 10 a.m. and action on the track by noon. Grandstand admission is free as up to 20 classes of karts and four-wheelers race warm-ups, heats and features. Path Valley is a BNSS sanctioned SpecTrak.
